We have reserved a hospitality room at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta North/Alpharetta from 2-5. The hotel is right by the Metropolitan Club, so feel free to hang out in the hospitality room in between events!
June 6th is the Feast Day of Corpus Christi, also called the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, in the Catholic Church. Matt and Rachel both love the Eucharist, which we as Catholics believe is literally Jesus Christ. When we think of what we want to center our marriage on, we could think of no better or more fitting feast. Thus, we chose the weekend of Corpus Christi to start our life together.
Masks are not required at the church or the reception venue, so we are leaving it up to our guests to make whatever decision is best for them. If you do decide to wear a mask, we just ask that you take it off for any portrait photos you are in.
The event will be formal, so please dress accordingly. Since the ceremony is in a Catholic Church, we ask that you please use "shoulders to mid-thigh" as a rule of thumb. Yes, it is summer in Georgia, but the events will be air conditioned since they are all indoors.
Our wedding colors are shades of purple, with lavender being the main color.
Please take a look at the inner envelope of your invitation to know exactly who is invited.
