Matt and Tori’s story began on a fateful winter day in Happy Valley, when they met at a party thrown by their mutual friend Maddi. Several years passed before their paths crossed again, but in the summer of 2018 when Matt arrived at the Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City, their fate was sealed. They spent that first night talking, laughing, and enjoying (probably too many) Twisted Teas. That Fall, Matt drove from Philadelphia to New York for their "official" first date at a 76ers vs. Nets game (to the surprise of absolutely no one). After a few years of long-distance phone calls, FaceTimes and many Amtrak/Megabus rides, Matt and Tori moved into an apartment in Philadelphia in 2020. The past 5+ years of their lives have been spent trying to convert Matt to a Disney adult, making many trips to Long Island and the Jersey Shore, attending extremely traumatic Mets vs. Phillies games, and taking entirely too many PTO days. With every vacation, adventure, or just nights spent together in their apartment – their love continued to grow. On April 29th, 2023 their greatest adventure began. Matt and Tori had planned a trip to Cape May. It was forecasted to rain all day, but as they arrived the sun began to shine and Matt suggested they take a walk. As they passed Congress Hall, Matt got down on one knee and asked Tori to marry him. They spent the rest of the day celebrating and have been surrounded by so much love and excitement in the months that followed. They are so excited to keep the celebrations going all the way until October 18th, 2024!
