We met on our first travel assignment at "The Square" in Baltimore. Both of us had recently gotten out of long term relationships and were hesitant to jump back into a relationship (especially me who had just bought a camper and planned on travelling the world). However, we knew we enjoyed each others company and would frequently hang out as friends. As each contract ended, we started taking assignments close to each other and eventually were spending all of our off days in each others company. About 6 months after we met we made it official and started travelling as a couple. 5 years later, we have travelled, worked and lived from Florida to Hawaii. We have loved every second of it and are ready to embark on our next adventure as a married couple

Just like our lives, our proposal was unconventional. We had already looked at rings and found the perfect vintage ring in an antique shop in Carmel By the Sea. Matt had a surprise engagement planned but an unexpected family sickness changed things. We discussed it and decided to do a quick proposal at a local outdoor spa that I loved. Despite the last minute plans, the proposal was perfect. Under the stars, backdropped by sound of a babbling waterfall and lit by the mood lighting, he asked me if I would spend the rest of my life with him. I said YES! We're so excited for this next chapter and look forward to sharing it with all of you! See you on the beach in April!
