Traveling to Borgo Stomennano, Monteriggioni

It is possible to fly to Florence and travel onwards to Monteriggioni by train, bus or car. However, many travelers may prefer to fly to Rome and catch the Trenitalia (a 90-minute high-speed train) to Florence. From Florence, there is a 90-minute regional train to Siena. From Siena, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Montereggioni. Borgo Stomennano is 2.5km from Montereggioni. You can catch a 5-minute taxi or a 10-minute bus. The 130, 136, and 527 busses will drop you off outside the entrance to Borgo Stomennano (stop "BV Stomennano"). Buses run regularly, but please check the schedule in advance of the day. Borgo Stomennano is 20km from Siena. To get to Borgo Stomennano from Siena you can take a taxi or local bus. Taxis are available at taxi stands around major points in Siena, such as near Piazza del Campo or the train station. The bus route is direct and will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Buses depart from Siena's main bus station, which is located near the train station. The 130 and 136 buses will drop you off outside the entrance to Borgo Stomennano (stop "BV Stomennano"). Buses run regularly, but please check the schedule in advance of the day. A shuttle bus will be available on the wedding day to transport guests to and from Borgo Stomennano. This service will pick up and drop off guests staying in Monteriggioni and Siena.
