How else does any young millennial meet? Yes, we met through tinder... Our first date was a puppy play date where Arya and Harper became best friends. The date was like no other with Klavon's pizza falling on the floor and cleaning up Arya's poop from the carpet. Yes, this really happened on our first date. Even after the utter embarrassment of that accident, Matt asked to see me again. I guess you could say, love still finds a way even through shit.
The story everyone wants to hear. Kara (my maid of honor) and I made a double date plan for my birthday to go wine tasting and hiking at Tabor Trails. We started our adventure at Tabor Hills Winery where we sampled wine and the men (Matt & Jarred) sipped craft beer. With drinks to-go, we headed off to the trails on our way to the Round Barn. About 1/3 of the way there the term "boys will be boys" fit nicely as Jarred attempted to be Tarzan on a vine and Matt became a giant squirrel squirming halfway up a tree. After coming back down I told him we have to keep going. He responded (twice) with "I need a breather" to which he told me to "just keep going". As I began to walk away I was called back to see Matt on one knee with Kara and Jarred in the background holding a Go-Pro. After stating "No you're not" and "This is a lie" multiple times and Kara's commentary in the background telling Matt to ask, I finally said YES!!
