Question

What COVID-19 precautions are being taken?

Answer

Our top priority is for our guests to feel safe and comfortable at our wedding. We are constantly checking NYS guidelines and will plan accordingly. Our ceremony and reception will both be outside and there will be plenty of room for distancing as needed. Right now, NYS is requiring all guests attending the wedding to be show proof of a COVID vaccination (two weeks out from 2nd shot) or have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the event. Our plans also have to be approved by the local health dept. We will be sending out more specific guidelines via email closer to the event, so everyone knows what to expect. If you have any specific questions or concerns about precautions, please let us know!

Question

I have a food allergy or preference, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please indicate on the RSVP or contact us directly to let us know how we can accommodate any allergies or dietary preferences.

Question

Are children welcome at our wedding?

Answer

Definitely! We will be having our niece and nephews at the wedding and all children are welcome to come. We are leaving it up to our guests. The ceremony will start at 4:00 and the reception will end around 9:30ish.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 4:00, so if guests could arrive around 3:45-ish, that would be wonderful. Feel free to come a bit early to explore the beautiful grounds of Valcour!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking right next to the Inn. All buildings are handicap accessible.
