Things To Do

We are so excited to share a few of our favorite places in Columbus! With it being a long weekend, we welcome you to pick one (or two!) of the Columbus neighborhoods to explore, and then join us for a Super Bowl watch party on Sunday

German Village

Columbus, OH

The quintessential historic neighborhood in Columbus! Within walking distance of our house, we love Jennings Java, Schiller Park, and the Book Loft for a walkable day and Club 185, Cobra, and Mid City Garage for a fun and funky evening

Short North Arts District

Columbus, OH

The happening place to be on any weekend in Columbus! Bars, restaurants, and boutiques abound in the Short North. Make sure to check out Pie of the Tiger at Short North Tavern for great Detroit style pizza, White Lemon Boutique for great fashion finds, and any of the art galleries to round out the day

The Ohio State University Campus

1534 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43201

Where Matt and Sarah's paths to each other began! Check out the whispering steps at Wexner Center for the Arts, the 11th floor of the Thompson Library for 360 panoramic views (just make sure you're quiet - it's the silent floor!), and of course the historic Ohio Stadium, which is generally open during the day. Sarah spent her time in the Fisher College of Business, while Matt was at Arps Hall with the Economics department, and both enjoyed the recreation facilities at the RPAC

Columbus Metro Parks

There are dozens of metro parks around Columbus, and one of our favorite activities on a nice evening is to pack a picnic and take a walk around a metro park. Scioto Audobon is the closest to our house and our go-to. We also love to see the bison at Battelle Darby Creek, the creek at Scioto Grove, and the groundhogs at Great Southern

Easton Town Center

160 Easton Town Center, Columbus, OH 43219

Easton is Columbus's premier shopping destination. Featuring 3 Bath & Body Works stores and dozens of other options, this is a great place to spend a rainy day in Columbus
