CHANGE OF EVENTS Dear Friends and Family, There has been a change of plans for the wedding celebration of Matt and Sarah that was set to take place October 17th, 2020. For the safety of our loved ones and these uncertain times, we decided to wed with small and private ceremony on August 1st, 2020. We plan to have a vow renewal ceremony and reception to celebrate with those we love at a later date. The later date is set as of right now to be May 15th, 2021! We can't wait to celebrate with you! Thank you for your continued love, support, prayers, and patience. Love, The Future Mr. and Mrs. Moffatt OUR LOVE STORY Matt and Sarah met in high school. Dating to them included climbing onto the roofs of most of the lower Kittitas county public school buildings. Once Sarah managed to fall off of the Kittitas High school and fortunately Matt caught her. They joke about how this is when they fell in love. The two dated their sophomore year of high school through their first year of college at Central Washington University and then broke up and went their separate ways. During this time, they both gained new life experiences which helped them grow into the individuals that they are today. Sarah went to Southern California to attend a university and Matt continued his college education at Central Washington University. Eventually Sarah moved closer to home and enrolled at a university in Kirkland, WA to be near her dad who was ill. After Sarah’s dad passed away his funeral service was held in April of 2019. Matt came to the service. This was the first time that they had seen each other in three years! Sarah tried to thank Matt before he left the church after the funeral service, but did not catch him in time. So she messaged Matt on Instagram and thanked him for coming to her dad’s funeral. The two exchanged a few words back and forth until Matt asked, “Do you still like to go out for coffee?”, she said “yes!”…. and the rest is HISTORY!!!
