Bride
Groom
Matron of Honor
Sister of the bride, a friend to most, the party starter to all! The bride's favorite, most iconic gal pal. The truest millennial of all millennials, but that's why we love her so much. Only downfall is she enjoys randomly cracking backs so if she asks if she can crack yours, just let me know. It's really weird, sorry. Oh and she loves pizza more than the bride :(
Best Man
Brother to the groom and co-Best Man, Vince is the second Balara sibling. Growing up he had to put up with the groom being his older brother, which means the wedding speech will either be extremely heartfelt or a 15 minute-long roast, probably landing somewhere in between. He loves Philly sports and video games, but will always put his family first which makes him the best brother a guy could ask for.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom, Sami is the fourth Balara sibling. She is wise beyond her years and is about to graduate from Xavier University where she also plays lacrosse. She chose to wear #13 in honor of her big brother Matt, although since she is the best athlete of the family that number officially belongs to her now.
Best Man
Nicky is the middle child of the Balaras and is the backbone of the family. He loves video games and traveling but his comedic timing might be his best skill. He is still listed in the bride's phone as "Cancun Nick" for reasons that will remain untold. You can always count on Nicky to drop everything to come help but then deliver the best joke of the night when you least expect it.
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom, Sophia is the fifth and youngest Balara child. Being the youngest of five siblings comes with its perks a.k.a spending her childhood at hockey rinks and lacrosse fields. Now she is about to graduate high school and continue her dance career, starting out with giving the bride and groom dance lessons. Sophia is the lovable youngest member of the family and you can find her on the dance floor with a smile.
Groomsman
Cousin to the groom. Duncan lives in Philadelphia but despite the distance, he and the groom rarely go a day without talking (mostly about the Flyers). He was the groom's partner in crime as they grew up the same age. Whether or not that was a positive thing is up for debate, just ask their parents.
Bridesmaid
Cousin of the bride, wittiest person you'll ever meet and makes a mean lasagna. Juju to the bride and "Hey Walio" to grandma. The Thelma to the bride's Louise. The Alice to the bride's Tess. It's a life, it's a style, it's a need, it's Burlesque.
Groomsman
Brother in law to the bride, friend to the groom. He enjoys watching Illinois basketball and long rides on the pontoon during the summer. Since Dave and the groom both are with Catalano women, it was easy for them to become friends, spending countless hours with each other at family parties.
Bridesmaid
Cousin of the bride, lawyer to Chicagoans, the most recent Catalano to lose her last name :( *Cue Another One Bites the Dust* Drea for short, Dre Dre for fun, Dr. Dre to her clients. The Maverick to the bride's Goose.
Groomsman
Friend to the groom. Brian was one of the groom's first friends when he moved to Illinois in 2012. They have remained inseparable through college and adulthood, both living in Chicago and scaring their significant others into thinking they may leave them for each other. Brian is the type of guy to always put his card down first at a dinner, as long as he hasn't lost his wallet.
Bridesmaid
Best friend of the bride, fur mother to Steven (girl) & Fredrick and a French enthusiast. She is our brave token friend *wink*, deathly afraid of avocado and will stand over your bed while brushing her hair. C'est la vie, oui oui.
Groomsman
Friend to the groom, Dylan is the heart and soul of the friend group. One of his best qualities is his ability to respond to every text in an instant, although usually with something you can't read out loud. He was one of the groom's first friends when he moved to Illinois during high school and life wouldn't be the same without him.
Bridesmaid
Best friend of the bride, fur mother to Penny and wrangler of Nickel. She likes short walks on the sidewalk and no partying past 9pm. Her favorite hobby is carrying a book around and reading one page every 6 hours. Oh and ask her how to say "kisses" in French!
Groomsman
Friend to the groom, Adam and Matthew spent all 4 years of college as roommates at Augustana where they met. Going through college with Adam as a roommate was a special time for them, and even though he now lives in Denver they remain close. He is truly a great friend, and effortlessly puts you in a better mood just by being around him.
Bridesmaid
Chicago friend of the bride, co-chaperone of an Augie lax bromance, loves a competitive drinking game and is a HUGE nerd who enjoys reading sci-fi. Ask her about Red Rising *rolls eyes* Ask her about Spongebob *smiles*
Groomsman
Friend to the groom. Lee and the groom spent their time together at Augustana College playing lacrosse. He is the type of friend to offer blind support no matter the situation, and once you are on his side he will do anything for you. He and the groom still live close by in Chicago where their significant others are also now close friends, which they like to take credit for.
Bridesmaid
Longest friend of the bride, "Gremlin" for short, will roast you so be careful. Lancer4Lyfe. Only thing she loves more than the bride is tanning. And her and the bride have that in common. The JWOWW to the bride's Snooki.
Groomsman
Friend to the groom. One of Matthew's first friends when he moved to Illinois, it wouldn't be the same without Mason up there with him. Now living in Denver, Mason spends his days snowboarding and biking. Even with the distance between them, every time he and the groom are together it is like they live right next door.
Groomsman
Cousin of the bride, fur father to Atlas and LOVES Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars. A man amongst all women yet he holds his own. Does not know how to ride a ski chair lift, and still doesn't, so be nice to him. Oh and he has the same condition as the Matron of Honor so if he asks to crack your back, just smile and walk away. Sorry again.
