Matron of Honor
Riley's first college roommate. Ever. Turns out, it was a perfect match. Brittany & Riley played 3 years of William Jessup softball together, and Brittany was an assistant coach of the program during Riley's senior year. Brittany moved to Sacramento area from Manteca after graduating Jessup. Now the two cannot be stopped! In September of 2018, Riley was in Brittany's wedding as a bridesmaid. Any guesses on what Brittany's groom's name is?? Also Matt! (A different one, thank goodness)
Best Man
Every groom needs a Best Man by his side on his wedding day. Luckily, Matt had the perfect guy at the ready. Tyler, Matt's younger brother, grew up alongside Matt in Citrus Heights. The boys spent their childhood playing just about any sport they could, and are nearly attached at the hip. As adults, the boys will regularly go out for a hike, round of golf, or just to catch up a bit. With his fun and adventurous attitude, he's always bringing life to the party. Ty has been the best brother to Matt over the past 26 years, and it was only natural that he be named Best Man as well!
Bridesmaid
If Riley wasn't lucky enough getting a stellar roommate her first year, her luck came through a second time when she bunked with Lindy for their junior year at Jessup. Riley and Lindy met in school and lived together for two years. Since then, Lindy has moved to AZ, and the two have kept in touch, flying out to see each other a few times per year. Some of these girls' adventures include hiking the Grand Canyon, jeep crawling the Sedona Red Rocks, and cruising down to Cabo!
Groomsman
God must have decided that two Young boys was enough for one household. Instead, he blessed those boys with a cousin named Emanuel. These boys grew up in a tight-knit family. Through thick and thin, they remained constant in their support for one another. Emanuel and his wife, Jessica, live in Sacramento where they are raising their two young boys. Babysitters permitting, Matt & Riley like to sneak Eman and Jess out of the house for some double date nights!
Bridesmaid
Back in 2001, Riley was starting the second grade. It was there, that she would meet the friend of a lifetime. Dominique and Riley have shared a friendship for nearly 19 years. Riley's only ever had a brother, but having Nique was the closest thing to having a sister. They grew up in school together, had countless movie marathons and sleepovers, and managed to keep in touch during the years apart in college and afterwards. Dominique recently moved from the Bay Area up to Washington.
Groomsman
Seven years her senior, Derek has often been a role model brother in Riley's life. As both of their parents worked, Derek watched over Riley for a fair chunk of her childhood. He was the first person to ever feed her ice cream, helped coach some of her early softball teams, and would walk her home from school every day. Later in life, as adults, Derek and Riley grew even closer. Derek currently lives in Antelope where he and his fiance are raising their two awesome kiddos.
