Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

3:30pm! We'd like to start on time, and that will give everyone enough time to be dropped off/park/get a ride down to the ceremony site on the hay wagon! (plus you have to drive by the ceremony site to get to the parking, so this way we will avoid cars and their noise during the ceremony)

I plan on drinking. Will there be a way for me to get home at the end of the night?

Answer

Yes! Please drive yourselves TO the wedding, and we will have a shuttle to LEAVE starting at 9pm (reception will officially end at 11:30pm). Feel free to leave your cars at the venue, and either carpool back in the morning, or there will be a family member driving the shuttle for a window of time in the morning to get you back to your vehicles.

What should I wear?

Answer

There is no specific dress code, however the entire wedding and reception are outdoors, so keep in mind the weather in the middle of July! The reception site is an open air covered pavilion, but the ceremony site & dance floor are in uncovered pine tree groves. Women may wish to wear flats instead of heels!

We love photos! The only thing we ask is that during the ceremony you put away your cameras & phones, be present with us, and let our wonderful photographer take care of the photos. :) After that, feel free to snap as many as you want! Our wedding hashtag for all social media will be: #ItsSchonsTime
