Denver is the easiest airport to fly into. It's about a 35 minute drive to the Marriott and Fairfield hotels.

Marriott Denver West, located a short drive from Downtown Denver, is holding a small block of rooms at the rate of $186+TAX for wedding guests. By selecting this hotel, guests will receive the discounted rate along with free parking and free WiFi along with access to the hotel's on-site amenities such as pool, gym and outside firepit lounge. And serving as the main hotel, Marriott Denver West will be the location of our welcome reception, brunch, and shuttles! A newer hotel near the Marriott Denver West, Fairfield Inn & Suites offers guests another super central location with a few added amenities in the rooms such as being an all-suite hotel and kitchenettes. Guests that select this option with receive the negotiated rate of $189 (King) or $209 (Two Queen) and receive free WiFi, free parking and daily breakfast. Being that the RTD Lightrail is also nearby, grab a ticket at the station and head downtown for just a few dollars! This will also be a shuttle location for the wedding. Shuttle
July 22, 2023 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Pickup will leave the Fairfield Inn at 2:30 and the Marriott at 2:50pm. If you are not staying at our room blocks, but plan on taking the shuttle, please park and pick up the shuttle at the Marriott. Shuttles back to hotels will leave at 8pm or 10pm (end of reception)
Travel Note
Directions Coming from Denver Metro Area: 3354 Little Bear Creek Rd Idaho Springs, CO 80223 The shorter way from Idaho Springs is windy & for confident mountain drivers. The easier way through Evergreen takes about 10 minutes longer. Driving through Evergreen (RECOMMENDED) Take exit off I-70 at Evergreen Parkway Rt 74 South and go right on Squaw Pass Rd. It will fork at Squaw Pass and you'll want to bear right onto 151, NOT left. Little Bear Creek forks about midway through so bear LEFT to stay on Little Bear creek, do NOT go straight onto OLD Little Bear Creek. After about 3 miles you'll come to the property on the right. If you hit a switchback you've gone too far. Driving through Idaho Springs You'll turn onto Soda Creek Rd from Miner Street. About one mile past the Indian Hot Springs, turn left onto the gravel road Little Bear Creek Rd. For about 3 miles you'll climb up 12 switchbacks. About 1/4 mile after the 12th switchback, you will see the driveway on the left.
Travel Note
We recommend staying in these neighborhoods: Golden - a suburb west of Denver at the base of the mountains. This will be the closest to our pre/post wedding events and shuttle locations. Evergreen - up in the mountains and about 40 minutes from Denver. If you are driving yourself, this will be the most accessible location to the wedding venue. Denver - a super accessible city, so no matter where you stay, you'll be able to get around. Some of our favorite neighborhoods are Highlands, RiNo and Cherry Creek. ** Even though our ceremony is in Idaho Springs, we don't recommend staying there because the road from Idaho Springs to the venue is quite windy, and we feel like there's a lot more fun things to do and see if you stay in Denver!
