Answer

The dress code for welcome drinks (Sunday evening) is festive cocktail attire. The dress code for the wedding and reception (Monday evening) is formal.

Where's the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

The Foxfire Mountain House is located at 72 Andrew Ln, Mt Tremper, NY 12457. Once you arrive, you'll see signs directing you.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:30 pm as we will be starting the ceremony promptly at 5:00 pm.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, while the reception will take place under a covered space. Guests will walk to the ceremony and cocktail hour on grass briefly to take their seats.

Do I have a plus-one?

If we have reserved a plus-one for you, it will be specified on your invitation. We've thoughtfully planned our guest list, so we kindly ask that you only RSVP for those listed.

While we adore all the children in our lives, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding.

Will transportation to the ceremony be provided?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided on the wedding day. Additional details, including pickup locations and timing, will be shared closer to the date.

Should I rent a car, or is transportation easily accessible in the area?

For ease of travel, we recommend renting a car. Public transportation options in the area are limited, and having a car will provide greater flexibility. Recommended rental car companies can be found on our “Travel & Resorts” page.

What will the weather be like during the wedding?

Answer

Late September in the Catskills, NY is comfortably cool, with daytime highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s and crisp evenings in the 50s. Early fall foliage will begin to appear.
