What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire. Gentlemen, suits are preferred. Please avoid wearing sage and tan. Ladies, short or full length dresses are welcomed. There are no color preferences for your dresses (except no white).

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the layout, all guests will need to be seated by 3:50pm so we can start promptly on time. If you arrive after this time, you will be asked to wait in the parking lot until the processional has concluded. Please arrive no earlier than 3:30pm.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Donovan Manor does provide a parking lot for all of our guests that decide to drive. You are able to leave your car overnight, it just needs to be retrieved the following morning by 10:00AM.

Will the wedding be outside or inside?

Answer

Subject to weather conditions, the ceremony will take place outdoors, the cocktail hour will take place both indoors and outdoors, and the reception will take place indoors. Please prepare for the weather the day of. The ceremony will be held on turf-grass.

What are the details of the meal selections?

Answer

Cast Iron Seared Filet Mignon (GF) Tender filet mignon topped with a roasted garlic demi glace, finished with a slice of house made garlic compound butter. Served with Herb Roasted Potatoes and Sautéed Asparagus. Donovan's Signature Stuffed Chicken (GF) Marinated chicken breast stuffed with artichokes, spinach, and an herb cream cheese and topped with a roasted tomato cream sauce. Paired with Truffle Whipped Potatoes and Sautéed Haricots Verts. Blackened Atlantic Salmon (GF) Cast-iron seared blackened salmon topped with our signature pineapple mango salsa paired with Saffron-Infused Rice and Roasted Seasonal Vegetables. Southern Ratatouille (VG & GF) Roasted and sautéed eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini, shallots, and peppers served over Jasmine Rice.

Are kids welcome?

While we love all your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration (except for children in the wedding for the ceremony). We appreciate your understanding and making arrangements to spend the evening with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

We kindly ask that you follow the guest count on your invitation.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We are asking our guests to provide their own transportation for the wedding activities. Raleigh and the venue are very accessible via Uber/Lyft/Taxi's and we hope that our guests will utilize such services if needed.
