Answer

Yes, we were legally married by a random bureaucrat in the Larimer County government building in Fort Collins on April 26, 2024.

So what is this event?

Answer

It’s a dinner to celebrate Matt/Meg’s marriage with Matt’s family! We couldn’t fit you all in the government building, but you are all extremely important to us, and we want a chance to celebrate with you. There will be dinner, toasts from Matt/Meg and Ben/Kim, and plenty of time to catch up and share our love.

What isn’t this event?

Answer

This is not a traditional wedding. There’s no ceremony, no reception, and no party. This is just a small gathering of our closest family and a chance for us to share our love with you all.

Will Matt and Meg be offended if I don’t come?

Answer

Of course not! We recognize that a single, small dinner may not be worth the long flights for many of you. We would love for you to attend, as every one of you has been an important part of Matt’s life and will be an important part of Meg’s life. But if you can’t make it to this event, don’t worry — we will have more opportunities to see you and celebrate with you in the future.
