What are the best hotel options?

Answer

The Broadview has provided us with discounted room rates of $299, $375, and $499. These rates are available until August 30th, 2021. Alternatively, we suggest the Delta Chelsea, Ramada Plaza, or Holiday Inn Yonge/Carlton for longer term or more affordable rates. There are also plenty of AirBnB options available.

Can I bring a guest?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Due to COVID restrictions, we unfortunately may not be able to allow all guests the option of bringing a plus one.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Doors will be open at 4:30 PM, and the ceremony begins at 5 PM

Do you have preferred rates for guests who want to book a room at The Broadview Hotel?

Answer

The Broadview Hotel is offering us the following preferred rates: King Traditional - $299/night King Terrace or King Sitting - $374/night King Corner - $449/night The above rates are available between October 30 – November 2 (check-out). You can take advantage of these rates by using the code 46082 when booking online.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Valet parking is temporarily suspended. We'll update here if that changes. There are two paid-parking lots available at walking distance to The Broadview Hotel on either side of Broadview Avenue, north of Queen Street East.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suit and tie or sports coats.

Can I wear a Halloween costume?

No, it's our wedding, not your funeral

Will there be a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but, should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. The venue is accessible by elevator and the washrooms are accessible as well.

What kind of COVID restrictions will be in place?

Answer

We will be following whatever the provincial guidelines allow at the time of the wedding. This is an ever-changing situation so we will add information here as we get it.

Will guests be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Answer

In order to keep our family and friends as safe as possible, we will be requiring that guests be fully vaccinated against COVID.
