FAQs

Here are answers to FAQs you may be wondering
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us finalize our arrangements, please kindly RSVP as soon as possible. If we haven't received your RSVP by January 31, 2026, we'll assume you won't be able to attend.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

May and Matt are asking for guests to dress semi-formal or garden party attire since the wedding ceremony will be outdoors in April. Please do not wear jeans.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with all our loved ones! To keep our wedding intimate and special, we've carefully planned for a specific number of guests. Your invitation will clearly state if you have a plus-one allocated (e.g., "and Guest" or their name directly addressed). If your invitation doesn't include a plus-one, we've unfortunately not been able to extend one. We truly appreciate your understanding as we plan for a cozy celebration with our closest friends and family.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore all the kiddos in our lives, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Your well-being is important to us! When you RSVP'd, you had the option to indicate common dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, celiac, etc. Our caterers are prepared to accommodate these specific requirements. Due to the intimate nature of our small wedding, we are unable to fulfill highly individualized or extensive special food requests beyond those listed. If you have a severe allergy not covered by the options provided on the RSVP, please reach out to us directly so we can discuss it.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We're so excited to say "I do!" and are planning to start our ceremony promptly at 5:00 PM. Please plan to arrive and be in your seats by 4:55 PM so we can kick off the celebrations right on time! We can't wait to see you there.

Question

What is the timeline for the wedding?

Answer

Here's what you can expect for our wedding day timeline: 5:00 PM: Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly. Please be in your seats by 4:55! Immediately Following Ceremony: Guests are invited to enjoy appetizers in the reception area while the wedding party and family take photos. 6:00 PM: Dinner will begin, followed by speeches and a chance for the happy couple to visit each table. After Dinner: Get ready to hit the dance floor and enjoy some cake as we celebrate! We know many of you will be heading to work on Monday, so we plan to wrap up the festivities around 9:00 PM. ***Please note that this timeline may change as we get closer to the wedding.
