Go to the beach of course! We like Los Cerritos Beach. It's about a 15-minute drive south from downtown Todos Santos. There is lots of on-site parking for a small fee.
Release baby sea turtles! Tortugueros Las Playitas is a local animal protection organization that hosts public and often daily hatchling releases at the beach in Las Tunas between Calle Mangos and Camino Internacional from October - April. Check their website for daily updates.
Also known as Old Port Trail, this is a beautiful, easy to moderate, out and back, 2.2-mile hike overlooking the ocean. Google Maps will take you right to the trailhead. It is located next to San Cristobal Hotel. Be sure to pack sunscreen and lots of water!
An expat favorite, The Green Room is an outdoor, ocean front restaurant known for its drinks and Mexican-American fare. You will need to drive to this location and half of the drive is on dirt roads. But, if you're up for the adventure it's definitely worth it! Free parking is on-site and reservations are recommended. If you can time it just right to be there during the sunset, it's pretty magical!
Located in El Pescadero, from the outside Pescadero62 doesn't look like much but the food is delish and the atmosphere is beachy, laid back and welcoming. Every Sunday they offer Blues and BBQ and it's most certainly worth the trip!
Right around the corner from Guaycura Hotel, Taller17 is one of the best coffee and pastry shops in town! It's teeny and popular, so don't be surprised if you see a line accumulating in the street. But, definitely worth a little wait! Corona, the town pooch, frequents here in the morning and can be your on-line bud.
Todos Santos has a vibrant art community with lots of boutique galleries located in downtown.
The Baja is a surfer's paradise! Rent boards, take lessons and catch some waves at Playa Los Cerritos or Playa San Pedrito.
There are lots of cute shops and boutiques in Todos Santos! Because this little town has become a popular expat destination, prices greatly vary, but some of our favs are Zocalo, Madre Tierra, Ulula, Nomad Chic, Todos Santos Surf Shop, and the open-air Bazaar.
For the ultimate spa experience, we recommend Paradero Hotel's Ojo de Agua Spa. Paradero is a luxury establishment, so a spa day here does not come cheap, but does comes with rave reviews. Rooted in ancient Mexican healing practices, enjoy a massage, temazcal ceremony or sound healing.
February is peak whale season in the Baja. You will most likely catch a sighting when just hanging out at the beach. However, if you'd like to head out onto the water for an up close adventure, check out Todos Santos Eco Adventures. They have a wide range of other activities available, too!
Local fresh fish market and seafood restaurant!
Popular local Italian restaurant.
Yummy breakfast spot close to downtown hotels.
