Brazilian food in Poland at the wedding of a British man and German girl?! Welcome to our international wedding! Pousada Kumaki is a Brazilian restaurant located 12km from Gdansk, which is approximately a 30 minute drive. Be prepared to eat a lot from an endless buffet with lots of veggies, grilled meat and fish. --------------------------------------------------- Brasilianisches Essen in Polen? Willkommen zu unserer internationalen Hochzeit! Das Pousada Kumaki ist ein brasilianisches Restaurant, etwa 12 km von Gdańsk entfernt, also ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto. Seid bereit, viel zu essen: Ein endloses Buffet mit viel Gemüse, gegrilltem Fleisch und Fisch erwarten euch.

Try using WizzAir & Ryanair The airport is a 30-minute taxi or Uber ride away from the city. You can get the train or buses to either Sopot or Gdansk. --------------------------------------------------- Anreise aus Deutschland: Ihr könnt Gdansk per Zug, Bus oder Flug erreichen. Gdansk Lech Wałęsa Airport ist ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto von der Innenstadt entfernt. Ihr könnt ein Uber, oder die Bahn oder den Bus in die Stadt nehmen.

Stay in Poland ✨ Unterkunft

We recommend staying in the Sopot area, it's in the middle of the Tricity and close to the beach. But Sopot, Gdansk and Gdynia are well connected by public transportation, and it's easy to travel between the three. The Wedding venue is closest to Gdansk. We recommend booking via AirBnB. There are also lovely camping areas alongside the beach, if you plan to come with a van or tents or think of booking a mini home. If you have any questions, contact us directly :) --------------------------------------------------- Wir empfehlen euch, in der Sopot-Region zu übernachten, also mitten in der Trójmiasto und in der Nähe des Strandes. Aber Sopot, Gdańsk und Gdynia sind gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln verbunden, und es ist einfach, zwischen den drei Städten zu reisen. Der Veranstaltungsort der Hochzeit liegt am nächsten zu Gdańsk. Wir empfehlen, ein AirBnB zu buchen. Es gibt aber auch super Camping Plätze am Strand, wo man auch teilweise ein Mini-Haus buchen kann. Useful Apps ✨ Gute Apps

We like to use JAKDOJADE to buy bus and train tickets on your phone. You can buy weekly tickets or a one-way ticket, just type in from where to where you wanna go! MEVO is an app to rent bikes and electric scooters. The tri-city is made for biking around and in the summer it's our go to transportation method. UBER is available in Poland. If you don't have your own car, we suggest using Uber to come to the venue. --------------------------------------------------- Wir nutzen die JAKDOJADE App, um Bus- und Zugtickets direkt auf dem Handy zu kaufen. Man kann Wochenkarten oder Einzelfahrten kaufen. Gibt einfach ein, von wo nach wo ihr fahren möchtet! MEVO ist eine App, um Fahrräder und Elektroroller zu mieten. Die Dreistadt ist perfekt zum Radfahren, und im Sommer düsen wir meistens mit dem Rad durch die Gegend. UBER ist in Polen verfügbar. Wenn ihr kein eigenes Auto habt, empfehlen wir, Uber zu nutzen, um zur Hochzeitslocation zu kommen.

If you decide to stay a bit longer, there’s a lot to do in the Tri-city. Of course, there’s the beach, so you can go swimming or windsurfing, visit the Molo (the longest wooden pier in Europe) or use the lovely bikelanes along the beach. There is also the forest, which we love for hiking trips, although we're both terrified of meeting of the many boars. Sopot is known for its spas, and there are many cultural events, live music, galleries, and historical sites across Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot. Also there are 3 parkruns, so we might spot you at one of them! --------------------------------------------------- Falls ihr etwas länger bleiben wollt, gibt es in der Dreistadt viel zu tun! Natürlich gibt es den Strand, wo ihr schwimmen, Windsurfen, das Molo (die längste Holzbrücke Europas) besuchen oder die schönen Radwege entlang der Küste nutzen könnt. Es gibt auch den Wald, wo wir super gerne rumwandern, auch wenn wir uns beide vor einem möglichen Wildschwein-Treffen fürchten. Sopot ist außerdem bekannt für seine Spas, und in Gdańsk, Gdynia und Sopot gibt es viele kulturelle Veranstaltungen, Live-Musik, Galerien und historische Sehenswürdigkeiten. Außerdem gibt es 3 Parkruns, vielleicht sehen wir euch ja bei einem davon!
