Our love story began on the Bumble dating app in October of 2021. We instantly connected over our mutual love for craft beer, Gamecock football and passion for our four legged children. For our first date we decided to meet at a local brewery, Columbia Craft. Little did we know, this first date would set the stage for a lifetime of laughter, love, and adventure. Our first date was an unforgettable night filled with hazy IPA’s and a connection that felt effortless. Before we knew it, we found ourselves shutting the bar down. From that moment on we were inseparable. In December of 2021 Matt made it official and our relationship flourished as we became more than just partners; we became the absolute best of friends. In September of 2022, we took a leap and bought our first house in Camden, South Carolina, turning it into a home filled with love, laughter, and the frequent barking chorus from our four-legged crew. Life was an adventure, and we embraced it wholeheartedly. On December 14th, 2023, our journey together took the next step when Matt proposed in the heart of downtown Camden under the Christmas lights. Maddie was caught completely off guard and the evening was spent celebrating with our close family. Immediately, the wedding planner in Maddie kicked in and she had vendors booked and half the wedding planned the following day. *Fun fact: Our reception venue overlooks where Matt proposed. Following this, we are thrilled to announce our wedding on October 26th, 2024. We are so excited to share this day with you all, showing all the perks that Camden has to offer and to begin the rest of our lives as a married couple.
