Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Free parking is available for the ceremony at 2 locations: the north side church lot is the surface lot attached to the church, but this is very limited due to its small size, so we recommend that guests with trouble walking arrive early to the ceremony to secure this parking. Additional free parking is located in the West Campus Parking Deck, which you will find to the left of the front entrance to St Bernard Catholic Church (across E State street). Reception parking is free in the hotel parking lot.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony formally begins at 1:30PM, so we recommend guests arrive between 12:45PM - 1:00PM, and no later than 1:15PM. There will be live music playing upon your arrival by an incredibly talented trio consisting of a cello, violin, and piano, so feel free to sit and enjoy!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have shuttle transportation available to the ceremony, so we do recommend that those coming from the hotel carpool if you wish to park in the limited church-side parking, though there is plenty of additional free parking available in the West Campus Parking Garage (see above for full details).

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

You absolutely can! Please fill out the "dietary restrictions" portion of the RSVP card and we will accommodate your needs accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please only bring a date if you are given a plus one! If there is any question, feel free to reach out to Maddie or Matt.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kiddos, but we want you to take the opportunity to relax and enjoy the night off! We are limiting kids to immediate family and those traveling from out of town. Again, if there is any question, feel free to reach out to Maddie or Matt.
