We met in nursing school, waiting in line to review a math test. She approached me with a simple question, "Is this the line for the math review?" I was engaged ever since. We shared one class throughout the whole program and not once did we ever sit together. We were both so quiet, but we clicked instantly. When we did start talking, we would wait to go out after class. Little did we know we would go on all sorts of adventures after that. So the rest is history... Or is it math?
We revisited our first date. The park across the Rose Bowl was quiet during that crisp December day. We walked around the park for a while until we came to the gazebo covered in vines. We stood onstage and I set up a speaker. She wanted to dance. Once the song ended, I gave her a small jar with a note that read ‘Remember when I asked you to marry me?’ As she read the note with a surprised face, I got down on one knee and she said, “Yes!”
