When Lizzie and Lexi met in high school at 15 years old, they promptly could not stand each other. However, after being forced to sit together in drivers ed, they soon found out they simply could not live without each other. From secret all night road trips at 16, to scrambling to pay bills as young adults, to picking out wedding dresses, they have done it all together. To know Lizzie is to know the feeling of basking in sunlight on an otherwise chilly day. There are some people who come into your life and change it forever, and Lizzie is one of those people.
Maci

Maci and Lexi met while working at Texas Roadhouse in 2022. They were fast friends and spent hours together in and outside of work. But it was the summer of 2023, when Matt left for the Appalachian Trail, that Maci became a true pillar for Lexi. Amidst a time of fear and doubt in Matt’s absence, Maci held her together. They took trips to the river, galavanted all over Texas, and attended multiple concerts. That summer, once lonely and petrifying, ended up being the best summer of Lexi’s life. Maci has a funny way of turning your greatest fears into your most cherished memories.
Lauren

Lauren met Matt while running on the UT Tyler Cross Country team. She and her husband, Gavin, have been friends with Matt for many years. Early in their relationship when Matt invited Lexi on a group trip to Hot Springs Arkansas, Lexi and Lauren hit it off immediately. Since then, Lauren has been simultaneously a steady rock and go-to good time for Lexi. Being loved by Lauren makes you feel like the most important person in any room. She can always be counted on to listen, love, and call for the next round of shots!
Madison

Madison grew up in Hallsville, Texas with Matt. Little did she know, the man she would go on to marry would become one of Matt’s best friends. Lexi met Madison and her husband, Abed, on the group trip to Hot Springs in 2022. While Madison tends to be a little more reserved, Lexi made sure that was not possible by sharing her every life detail right away. Over the years, Madison has been a calm within the storm for Lexi, bringing perspective and serving as a voice of reason. She will undoubtedly play an integral part in keeping our bride’s head on for the big day!

Madi and Lexi met working together at Texas Roadhouse, but became true friends through Maci. Madi quickly showed Lexi what it means to live true to yourself. She has always been Lexi’s most steadfast supporter and loudest cheerleader. Through calling out of work to drink margaritas at On The Border to wrangling two babies through First Monday in Canton, the two have always been able to count on one another for a good gossip and a brutal wakeup call. If you have the opportunity to be a friend of Madi’s, just know you very quickly won’t want to live without her!
Abby

Abby and Lexi met working alongside one another at Hubbard Middle school in the fall of 2025. Like many others, Lexi gave her no choice but to be her best friend. Abby, however, quickly pulled to her feet and proved to be one of the greatest friends you could ever have. The two have already shared countless nights boot scoot and boogying at the dance hall and sharing bottles of wine on quiet evenings. To be a friend of Abby’s is to be seen and cherished. She remembers all the little details and celebrates all your wins as if they are her own. Abby is simultaneously the life of the party and the calm luminescence of a Sunday morning.
