Question

Who do you suggest we contact if we have any questions regarding the wedding?

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is set for May 1st, 2023. All RSVP cards have been sent along with your formal invitation by mail. Please be sure to write your first name, last name, meal choice, dietary restrictions or allergies, and a song request if you have one.

Will there be transportation available?

Answer

Yes, most definitely. There will be multiple shuttle buses available for all guests to be transported from the Best Western in Smiths Falls to the private residence. There will be no parking available for guests at the venue so we ask that you utilize the shuttle transportation provided. All details on shuttles is available on the "accommodations and transportation" page.

Am I allowed to drive to the venue if I choose to?

Answer

Transportation has been booked for all guests to and from the hotel. We have made it mandatory for guests to use the shuttles provided in order to have no vehicles parked at the venue. Parking will be available at the Best Western.

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

A room block has been organized at the Best Western Smiths Falls under "Laura and Matt's Wedding". More information of booking a room is available on the "Accomodations and Transportation" page. For any questions, concerns, or help needed please email events@champagneandco.ca and our wedding planner will assist you.

Will there be an open or cash bar?

Answer

There will be complimentary alcoholic beverages being served starting at 2pm and throughout the afternoon. At the reception there will be a cash bar. Cash or credit card accepted. A portion of the monies from the bar will go towards the Bride and Groom.

What type of footwear is suggested?

Answer

The entire wedding will be located on grass at the private residence. We suggest having comfortable footwear that has flexibility with uneven ground and that does not sink into soil.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or special diet options?

Answer

Yes, most definitely. When filling out your RSVP, please be sure to mark all dietary restrictions and allergies and we'll be sure to accommodate them.

Will the entire wedding be located outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the wedding will be hosted completely at Mitchell Acres outdoors. The ceremony and cocktail hour will both be al fresco - the dinner and reception will be located under a tent. We'll be sure to have sunscreen and bug spray readily available for guests.
