Thank you all for your continued support and patience as we navigated wedding planning (and re-planning) amidst a global pandemic. It certainly was not always easy, but we’re lucky to have such an amazing support system in each of you. Keeping our friends and family safe at our wedding is our top priority. Given the rise in cases linked to the Delta variant, we are requiring that all guests in attendance are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. In addition, the town of Lenox requires masking indoors when not eating or drinking, and outdoors when social distancing is not possible. Please bring your masks with you to our wedding events! We will have masks available in case you need one, as well.
Matt and Laura met in 2013, during their Sophomore Summer at Dartmouth. Laura knew Matt as the cute guy in her Psychology class, and they were later set up on a date by their mutual friend, Carly. They immediately hit it off and spent time together studying in Baker-Berry and paddleboarding on the Connecticut River throughout the summer. By the end of the summer they were officially dating. After graduation, Matt and Laura dated long-distance from Boston to Connecticut for nearly three years. They cherished their time together, and have a particularly fond memory of meeting in the middle for a relaxing weekend at The Cranwell Resort in the Berkshires. In the spring of 2018, Matt moved up to Boston, where he and Laura live together today. On a crisp December day in 2018, Laura and Matt were driving up to New Hampshire for a ski trip at Mount Sunapee. As was their tradition, they planned to stop in Hanover for dinner on the way. Before they made it into town, Matt pulled over and parked near the Ledyard Bridge. He led Laura to the park overlooking the river, where they shared their first kiss back in 2013, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him! (She said yes). They can't wait to celebrate with all of you in the Berkshires this fall.
