Check with Larissa, but we booked a large beach house that allowed us to provide rooms for nearly all of our guests. For those unable, or uninterested, in staying in the beach house with us, we will help you secure discounted reservations to local hotels owned by Marriott.
For the wedding, attire will be semi-formal. We'd like our guests to look nice but also be comfortable. The ceremony will be on the beach so footwear is optional. Temperatures in early November should be between 50 - 70° F, but with the ceremony being on the beach at sunset we expect it to be on the cooler side of that range and potentially a little windy.
Yes, gulf waters should still be comfortable to swim in November. We will also have one of the pools at the beach house be heated during our stay.
Dinner after the wedding will be catered by TBD (menu will be posted at a later date) and brunch the morning after the wedding will be provided. We will plan to stock the house with drinks and light snacks but all other meals and travel to local restaurants will need to be coordinated by couples or groups. Please see "Things to Do" page for suggestions.
That's really up to you, but we feel it's not necessary for most. We have several family members that have already secured rental cars or are driving down instead of flying, so vehicles will be available to transport groups to local restaurants and attractions. We expect an Uber/Lyft ride from Pensecola airport to be beach house in Gulf Shores to be $70-100.
