Unity Park is an award-winning municipal park and wildlife reserve. This 30-acre (0.12 square kilometer) park boasts a popular event venue, a splash pad, a skateboarding park, a tennis court and playground for younger children. Visitors can use various trails to explore the reserve, descriptive information is provided along the way. There is also a creek that runs through the park.
The Magnolia Stroll is a popular spot for a leisurely stroll or for jogging, featuring street arbors, seating walls, public art locations and rest areas. Visitors can find restaurants, galleries and other businesses along the way. Its tree-shaded walkway is connected to Sullivan Park and the Farmers Market to the North.
Since 2016, the farmer’s market on Tamina has been a great hangout place for the community. You can expect 30-50 vendors every Saturday selling all kinds of local products and their artwork between 9 am to 1pm. Located west of the Woodlands, the farmer’s market is held on a gravel and grass lot; Culinary Courtyard is nearby where you can find various eateries. Your Saturday will be well-spent.
Step back into the first days of Tomball when you visit the Tomball Museum Center. The center is made up of a collection of historical buildings that provide a glimpse at what life was like for the town’s settlers in the mid-19th century. Browse the collection of antiques at the 1860 Griffin Memorial House, then get an up-close look at 1800’s farm equipment at The Farm Museum. This living history museum also includes a 19th-century Lutheran church, a schoolhouse, fellowship hall, and doctor’s office.
At High Meadow Ranch Golf Club, you can improve on your golf game; it has a routing consisting of three six-hole loops. It features a large grass teeing area with two practice putting greens and short game practice areas. You can expect a great time of golf playing at the Hight Meadow Ranch Golf Club.
The Woodlands Mall is a colossal shopping mall featuring more than 160 shops and many other amenities. Some of its facilities include a bustling food court, an indoor carousel, and endless more.
The George Mitchell Nature Preserve, encompassing roughly 1,800 acres, is densely forested with at least five miles of trails. It features postcard-perfect trails fit for beginners, abundant wildlife, statuesque trees, and many others.
