Kristi thought Matt would say he loved her on a mountain in Phoenix, he told her two weeks later. Come to find out, Matt was waiting for Kristi to say it first and Kristi was waiting on Matt.

Matt met Kristi’s extended family...and it seems he passed the test. Kristi has a secret love for vineyards since watching The Parent Trap in the late 90’s.

Matt and Kristi were in car accidents on the way to Matt asking Kristi’s Dad to marry her AND right before the proposal. Kristi took this photo in the tow truck of the first wreck.

Matt lived in Chicago and Kristi was living between Joplin and NWA, they both moved to St. Louis within six months of each other in 2012-2013. They lived in St. Louis for five years before meeting.

Matt and Kristi’s parents met for the first time. Matt grilled steaks prior to the game for everyone. Firefighters were at Matt’s house during this photo from the grill catching his deck on fire.

Matt and Kristi met through an online dating app. The first date they discussed politics, religion, and the second amendment. By the third date, they were at the shooting range together.
