KK and Matt were introduced in the fall of 2018 at a mutual family friends wedding. That introduction and the spark formed that weekend began our wonderful story together. At that time, KK was living in St. Petersburg Florida and Matt was living in Houston Texas. Throughout 2019 and most of 2020, we navigated a long distance relationship. While the distance was challenging at times, we both look back fondly on that chapter as it allowed us to focus on getting to know each other and building the foundation that our relationship was built upon. We had great experiences traveling between our homes, but as 2020 progressed and the Covid pandemic continued, the time had come for us to make a change and be together. With the help of Jim and Martha (KK’s parents), we sold KK’s home in St. Petersburg and packed up all her belongings, so KK could join Matt in Houston. Since the move to Houston we have enjoyed building our life here, with good jobs, family, and great friends. We made the decision to start our family with our dog Callie in 2022 and the joy she has brought to our home has been priceless! This past year we were fortunate to find a home that we fell in love with, and were able to add homeownership to our journey! Our story has been an amazing testament to our unwavering commitment to each other, but also a reflection of all the love and support we have received from friends and family. We are so excited for our future and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you in March! KK and Matt
