Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park is only 20 minutes from the Montrose Airport making it an easy but beautiful pit stop! No hiking necessary, you can take a short walk right out to the overlook for stunning views of the canyon

If you want the biggest and most delicious cinnamon roll you'll ever have in your life, stop at Starvin' Arvin's in Montrose when you fly in or before you fly out, I promise you won't regret it. (P.S. the cinnamon roll comes as a free side to our meal & can feed 2-3 people)

Stop in for a dip! The Ouray Hot Springs is great for all ages looking for a good soak, relaxation hour, or fun with the family
Ouray Via Ferrata
If you are the adventurous type, this is the perfect time of year for the Via Ferrata. We HIGHLY recommend using Ouray Mountain Sports for any rental needs or questions, we go there every year for our ice climbing gear! The Via Ferrata is located in the same exact spot as the ice park in Box Canyon and crossing Uncompahgre River. Let us know how it is if you go, we only visit when there is ice!
