“It started when his cousin was watching my son & daughter in January of 2016. I would occasionally go over on my nights I didn’t have the kids and have a couple glasses of wine. One night that I went over, Matthew was there having a few drinks after he had dropped the boys off with their mom. He didn’t say too much, or maybe I just chattered away lol. This kept happening though, I would always try to dart out of there way before him because I wasn’t really looking for anyone.” -Kay “I was being a good boy. I let her talk and she talked quite a bit lol. I knew she had gotten out of a relationship and so out of my good nature I figured I should wait. There were a few times I thought about asking her to go have a drink but I was being good.” -Matt “I was trying to find help finishing Jay & Lilli’s rooms at my place and everyone always would have stuff going on & Matthew offered to help out for beer & food. So he would bring the boys down after he got done working all day, they’d eat & after homework the kids would all play while Matt & I worked on the rooms. All the work he put in, and he didn’t have to.. We started hanging out outside of that and before too long situations pushed us to living together & making things official. Now 3.5 years later, we have a baby & are getting married. I would have never thought we would go this far but I’m certainly glad we did❤️”. -Kay “Out of my good nature I offered to work on the house to help her out. It was doing drywall & I’m not a fan of drywall. Lol. We had alot in commonn, I had a new fishing buddy and we both were pretty nervous about dating due to past relationships. One little thing led to another and here we are. I wouldn’t change it for nothing.” -Matt It just goes to show, that love can find you when you least expect it.
