WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Whimsical Formal Babyyy! We're adding some whimsy to our lives. Ladies wear something colorful, floral, flowy, and fun. Men wear a fun button up or tie with some colorful accessories. We'll be at over 8,000ft elevation in summer heat, but the whole party is indoors. Wear whatever you're comfortable in, something you've never gotten the chance to wear, or your fanciest outfit. Just have fun with it. :)

WHAT TIME SHOULD YOU ARRIVE?

Answer

We're doing a quick exchange of vows at 3:15 pm so if you're running late you'll miss us say cute things to each other.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS?

Answer

Yep! We'll be in a big lodge in an open room. There is picnic tables outside and games to play so you can also go outside if it's feeling stuffy.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

At 8,000ft elevation end of August it will probably be in the 80s. If it's a freak day it'll be 90 ish degrees but it will still feel pleasant.

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

Nope. Unless explicitly invited don't bring additional guests. This is a very small celebration and if you brought someone extra they won't have somewhere to sit or food, so don't do that to them.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

This is the only question that matters right? Yes! We'll have beer, wine, seltzers, and probably at least two options for cocktails. You can BYOB if you're worried about us running out haha

IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes, there is a designated parking lot for the lodge. However there are only 8 spots and a dirt road right next to the lodge that you can park on. If there is no room for parking please go park in the lot behind the administrative building (40.34043, -105.5729) and have someone come pick you up to bring you to our lodge.

WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED?

We will have pasta, salad, and bread rolls! *For allergy people we will have a special GF/DF baked ziti!

FLYING, STAYING, TRANSPORT, ETC

Answer

If you're flying in you'll fly into the Denver airport. Estes Park is just under 2 hours from the airport. So it would be easiest to rent a car. An uber would be super expensive to take. There are ubers in Estes but I don't think there are many and they would be kind of hard to get. So if you're able rent a car!

WHAT CAN I GET FOR A GIFT?

We kindly ask that you do not buy us gifts. We have lived together for like 6 years so we have everything we could possibly need. If you feel really passionate about it you can contribute to our honeymoon fund so we can have the best time in Italy in October.
