FAQs

The Wedding Website of Julia Lawrence and Matt Hartz
Hopefully this helps with anything that we may not have covered, but if you're still confused feel free to reach out to us or our families!
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely adore your little ones but this event will be adults only. We get this can be stressful, and we're happy to help locate a babysitter for those coming from out of town!

Question

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

The best airport to fly into is Bradley International Airport, located in Windsor Locks, CT (airport code: BDL). Based on the airline of choice, we've listed two other major international airports on the "Travel + Hotels" page of our website. Major rental car companies are located within all noted airports or a courtesy shuttle drive minutes from the airport.

Question

What's the best hotel to stay at?

Answer

We are working on finding a hotel block but it's tough with our last minute timeline (and we so appreciate your understanding of our weird situation). We'll likely have some kind of transportation to hotels in the Southbury area. You can learn more on the "Travel + Hotels" page of our website!

Question

What time does the ceremony start? Cocktail hour and dinner?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 pm, with the cocktail hour and reception to immediately follow!

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Given we don't have a hotel block yet, we're still not sure yet about transportation. That being said, we're committed to making sure everyone feels both able to drink as much as they'd like & get home safely. Book any air b n b/hotel that works for you, and we'll likely come up with some kind of shuttle situation or a code for an Uber/Lyft pool.

Question

So about these new variants…are you guys asking for proof of vaccination?

Answer

A few people have asked if we’ll be asking for proof of vaccination, and we feel extremely lucky that we (believe) we didn’t have anti vaxers on our list & don’t have any doubt the whole crowd will be vaccinated!. That being said, vaccination is absolutely required to attend-if you have extenuating circumstances please reach out. If your comfort level on travel or group gatherings changes, we totally get it! You’re able to change your RSVP status in here until 9/2. We have to give our absolute final guest count 9/9 & ask that you make the best choice with the information you have at hand by then.
