Matt and Judy met at a dive bar playing Texas Hold'em poker.  The two shared a random first kiss on New Year's Eve, 2016 that neither of them remembered for ages.  They "officially" met and became friends at the end of 2017, and after about March 2018, were in what some might affectionately call a "situationship" on and off again for two plus years.  The goal was to keep it casual, random fun ... at which it's safe to say they ultimately failed miserably. Even from the beginning, there was a lot in common ... poker, a love of toys, movies, baseball...  and just enjoying being around each other.  Judy felt like she could talk to Matt about anything.  Per Matt, she quickly became his best friend, too.  By December 2019, the almost year-long snapchat streak  was more telling than anything either were willing to acknowledge. But also ... they couldn't keep their hands off each other! That chemistry led to random dates, weekend trips, and eventually, to quarantining together.  By June 2020, after TWO years and change of "association," the two finally embraced that they were in fact ...EEEK... dating, living together, and smitten in love. Matt proposed in December of 2020 at a tattoo parlor.  He "sealed the deal" with a ring in May 2021. A foundation of friendship had blossomed into one of the deepest connections, and through thick and thin, the rest is history.   <3
