We met the way many couples do, under the romance, splendor, and happily-ever-after of Tinder. We knew once the super likes started flying, that a date must be in order! To kick it all off, where better to meet than the lovely Linda's Tavern, a staple of Capitol Hill and Seattle nightlife. We quickly understood that something deeper was at work and while our "how'd you meet" story isn't necessarily filled with tear-jerking details or some elaborate story, something special began in the dinge and drab of our local dive bar. From our first date, we've rarely spent a day apart and our love and bond has only continued to grow ever since.

Unfortunately, in early 2020 COVID forced us to cancel a trip we had planned to Japan and Thailand just days before departure. Unable to face the depressing reality of shelter-in-place, we made the most of it and rented an Airstream to embark on a socially-distanced Northwest Adventure! It was at Panther Creek Falls just off the Columbia River, that Joseph decided it was time to take the next step. In the wet mist of the falls, framed by the verdant backdrop, we got engaged. It didn't happen under the Cherry Blossoms of Kyoto, but it was uniquely special, spontaneous and just as memorable. A place we never anticipated visiting, but a place we will continue to visit throughout our lives. It serves as a reminder of where we started and how far we will have come.
