Matt and Jordan met at Camp Glorieta in the summer of 2019. They met at a particular swing, one that Jordan hung from while Matt wanted his chance to talk to her. That chance happened, flirting occured for a short time, and Jordan knew that Matt had feelings as soon as he shaved that ugly mustache he had attempted to grow! And of course, Matt asked Jordan out on a date, on her birthday we might add. He also had the audacity to ask her to be his girlfriend on the same day too! Jordan waited till the day after to respond to that, and since we’ve come to this we obviously know what that answer was. Matt and Jordan went their separate ways at the end of the camp, Jordan going to Colorado and Matt to Texas. Distance was the biggest struggle the two went through. But the two survived it. It came to a simple visit to Texas when COVID happened, thinking it was only for a week, which turned into Jordan trading in her winter clothes for short-sleeve shirts and shorts. The two lived in Texas, and are now at this point in their lives. Matt popped the question on the 6th of September, taking Jordan by suprise when she didn’t believe he could. So that’s our story so far, and we hope that everyone can take part in the next part of our story with the wedding!
