Our Journey So Far

It started with Jill "shooting" her shot...literally

Once upon a time in the nation's busy capital, a girl walked into a bar. Immediately upon walking in this girl, Jill, saw a man and shot him with finger guns (no real guns were used in the making of this love story). That night Jill and the man, Matt, danced and got to know each other. Once they parted ways, the true adventure began. Jill texted Matt the following day asking to go on a date, to which Matt excitedly said yes. They had sushi and talked until the restaurant closed. Over the next months, Jill and Matt became inseparable, going on a variety of dates. From raves to camping to a weekend getaway to Luray Caverns. The two fell quickly in love. Not only did they fall in love with each other, but they fell in love with each other's families. It wasn't before too long they decided they should get married. Matt and Jill went ring shopping to see what Jill liked. She quickly found her ring. Matt was excited to create the plan to completely swoon Jill and ask her to marry him. The day came on October 4th, 2025. Jill thought it was another date that Matt had put together, a photoshoot at Georgetown Waterfront in DC. However, 5 minutes into the photo shoot, Matt asked Jill to marry him. Jill was incredibly happy and was thrilled with the news. But it came time to tell the rest of her friends. Luckily, Matt and a collection of women who became "Jill's Fan Club", arranged for both of Matt and Jill's friends and family to be near by to have a surprise engagement party. Normally a story would say happily ever after to close out; however, this story is just beginning. Matt and Jill look forward to starting their journey of love, and sharing the start with those who mean the most to them. Therefore this isn't a "they lived happily ever after" but rather a To Be Continued....
