Things To Do

Harpers Ferry

Harpers Ferry

Harpers Ferry, WV

Harper's Ferry sits at the junction of the Shenandoah River and the Potomac River. It's a cute little historic town with beautiful hikes, old shops and Jefferson Rock, where Thomas Jefferson stood on October 25, 1783 to admire the view. Definitely worth a visit.

Waterford

Waterford

Waterford, VA 20197

Waterford is a charming historic village in the heart of Loudoun County's wine country. Visiting Waterford feels like stepping back in time, with its cobblestone streets, historic stone buildings, and beautifully preserved architecture. Definitely check out the Corner Store while you're there. I used to go there for Happy Hours when I worked at the farm.

Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery

Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery

38506 John Wolford Road, Waterford, VA 20197

This was my favorite spot to hang out after a long day at the farm. It's very laid back and they grow their own wheat for the beer. :)

Open Book Farm

Open Book Farm

6600 Roy Shafer Road, Middletown, MD 21769

This is where I live! It's a great farm and I'd love to give you a tour.

Leesburg

Leesburg, VA

Another cute historic town to visit if you like exploring little shops, drinking coffee or hanging out at a brewery. Leesburg also has a lot of history to discover if you're into that.

Walsh Family Wine

16031 Hillsboro Road, Purcellville, VA 20132

Easily my favorite winery in the area (though I haven't visited them all). Walsh Family Wine has a great atmosphere, delicious wine and they're so friendly.
