We met at my halloween party, junior year. He was rooming with my friend, and previous roommate Stevie and she lived right across the street from my apartment. I had gone over to visit Stevie several times, however he was never home. On October 29, 2015, I had a halloween party, and Stevie asked if her roommate could come so that he didn't have to be alone. He ended up joining the party dressed as a black cat. We had class together the spring semester of that year, and sat next to each other. Every day we had that class, he would walk me to my next one that was all the way across campus. During these class periods we would talk about anything and everything that came to mind. From exes to class, to sports, to stocks. Literally anything that we could think of. Often I would find out things from Matt before Stevie had the chance to tell me. Stevie kept saying that Matt liked me, little did I know that that was the case. Fast forward to January of my senior year. My dad broke the back window of my truck and I needed people to help fix it it. Matt was one of the people I asked to help. We hung out all day from morning to night, building lego, playing video games, and watching movies. Eventually this turned into routine. He would come over to my apartment and we would play video games every weekend or watch movies and order dinner. We started hanging out whenever we could no matter how short the time period was. We pretty much became inseparable and became best friends, even going on vacation together and ring dance. The day after ring dance was the day he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. And from there everything fell into place.
