C'mon everybody!

Love is patient, love is kind... of a journey. Luckily, Matt and Haley's journeys both crossed paths at the perfect time. He, a nomadic creative with a big heart and 20+ tattoos, and she, a KCMO to KU jack-of-all-trades artist with just as big a heart, just not as many tattoos (Chidi comes in later). They met in the tradition of classic couples like Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, and Veronica Corningstone and Ron Burgundy – at work. After months and months (and months and months and...) of concerts, wrestling events, youth basketball games, several viewings of Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, and the addition of one tortured soul in the body of a bulldog (there's Chidi), they made it official on Halloween Night*, 2019 (*technically November 1st because Halloween was on a Thursday that year) when a winged, euphoric angel and menacing, full-body-painted demon declared their love for each other, documented by several blurry pictures and a lot of stories we vaguely remember. A few months later, they decided the first week of a global pandemic would be the perfect time to move in together. A few months after that, in the backyard of Matt's boss, and point guard, they made it officially official when Matt (forgot to ask)ed Haley to marry him. She said yes. That's why you're here. And that's why we hope you'll join us in Colorado for a night of dancing, drinks, green, something blue, something borrowed, something old, something new, a lot about livin' and a little bout love.
