Our mutual love of the Chicago White Sox initially drew us together in 2020. While sharing a molcajete on our first date, the world around us began to shrink. Though we were strangers then, we'd discovered our paths may have crossed much earlier in life. Whether it was through a close family connection, water polo tournaments in high school, or attending the same concerts- it seemed fate had set our paths to cross one way or another. Just a few weeks later, after a meal of homemade cavatelli with vodka sauce, Matt asked Gianna to be his girlfriend, and the rest is history!
