In a time when the world was filled with so many "no’s," it made it even more meaningful to say "yes" to each other on May 23rd, 2020. We appreciate all of you being a part of this process. Though it has been anything but a traditional wedding, we are thankful for every bit of it. And now, we are so excited to finally be able to celebrate with all of you! Our "wedding celebration" will take place at Cherokee Creek Farm in Jonesborough, TN on October 16th. Be on the lookout for a "save the date" with invitations to follow.
Who is ready to attend their first (maybe second) virtual wedding?! The current environment still does not permit us to have our larger wedding with family and friends, and we aren’t positive when the social distance era will cease; BUT, it will and we will celebrate with each of you when it does. We can’t wait! So, in traditional quarantine fashion, we are still getting married May 23, 2020 in Matt’s backyard. It will be just the two of us and an officiant! We are so sad that we can’t include all of you in person but we are confident in God’s plan and our love for each other. Please join us as we tie the knot May 23, 2020 via Facebook Live. If you have issues joining, please contact our good friend Luke Musselwhite at (678) 326-0480. We will continue to post updates for our virtual wedding ceremony, May 23, 2020, as well as the celebration to follow. The celebration date remains TBD. We love each of you and feel blessed to have you in our lives. We hope you will join us virtually for our special day!
With the presence of COVID-19, abiding by our rules and regulations and most importantly the safety of our loved ones, we are postponing our wedding. We aren’t sure what the environment will permit at a future date but will keep you informed as we charter these unfamiliar waters together (yet apart). We hope you all are staying well! Love, The future Zervos
Matt are I came together in a very special way. It was clear that God’s hand was on our lives, guiding us toward one another. He worked through our mothers and a mutual friend, Lauren Clemson, who “encouraged” the two of us to reach out to each other. They had a feeling we were compatible souls. Matt and I both value our family, our dear friends, and the places we come from. These things represent home, a haven for us. So, it comes to no surprise that, through these values, we found each other. That shared value system instantly served as the foundation of our relationship and has remained that way. We came together as kindred spirits who had traveled similar paths, both weary of the same woes. We both truly feel the freedom to be ourselves without judgement. We are easy going, both love music and movies, and especially games. We both celebrated our 30th birthdays at Dave and Busters, had our first date there, and got engaged there as well. Sponsorship pending.
