Let's get the government involved

Stella is my favorite coffee shop in Ghent where I used to live. Its business as usual for me before my work shift starts and I walk in. I see this guy sitting there and something in my gut told me I had to go talk to him, not the part of my gut that tells me to drink milk and eat cheese when I know I can't, it was the other, more serious part of my gut. I knew from the instant I saw him something important in my life was going to happen (not to ruin the ending but he got me pregnant and we fell in love). So I sat down at his table, he was very unfriendly and I thought he hated me. I don't get rejected, so I asked him to go next door and get some BBQ. Four years later and here we are, still, technically, on our first date.

Not so long ago in a coffee shop named Stella, I met this girl. A very pretty, smart and fun girl. We sat across from each other; it was crowded inside. I couldn't hear a word she was saying, all I could do was nod my head yes, Dona thought I wasn't interested because all my responses were head nods and yes. I could tell that things were not looking good for a second date. Then I came up with the smart Idea... go somewhere else that was quieter. So Dona and I went to a BBQ place not far from Stella, and we actually got to know each other because we both could hear. Then as I sat there watching her pound down a 2 lb pulled pork sandwich, and sides, I thought to myself that she could be the one. After that I just stuck around, and our first date just kind of never ended. We hung out together everyday from there on out, and I am so glad that we are still together now, and for the rest of our lives. To the date that never ended. I love you Dona
