This area has three different trail heads you can choose from that start at the same parking lot. (*Fun Fact*: part of the first Hunger Games was filmed here). We recently hiked the Hooker Falls Trail. This hike is great for all ages! It's a half mile out and back trail, about 15 minutes to the waterfall and river. Matt, my mom, sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew (4yo and almost 2yo) and I really enjoyed it! There is also Triple Falls Trail: This unique three-tier waterfall offers a chance to safely get a close-up view in the middle of three cascades. It's only a one-mile roundtrip hike - and a half mile from High Falls and Hooker Falls. & High Falls Loop Trail: 2.2 mile trail leads past High Falls and Triple Falls, and was used in the filming of the Hunger Games. Short spurs lead to other interesting sites, including a covered bridge above High Falls and access to the river's edge. The rhododendrons lining the trail bloom in April or May.
