The art on our physical invitations were done by Matt's brother Sebastian! We think he did an amazing job and we are in love with them!
It's a mix of both! Our ceremony will be held outdoors, cocktail hour and appetizers will follow inside the barn on-site, and finally dinner and after party will be outside under a large canopy next to the lake and barn!
We kindly ask that you dress in semi-formal attire. We would love to see everyone in their best button ups, slacks, dress, etc. Please no jeans, hoodies or street wear.
We are happy to have everyone taking pictures during the reception, dinner and after party! However, we have paid for a photographer to document our special day and ask that no phones be in use during the ceremony. We'd like to have all the pictures of the ceremony be from our lovely photographer without phones in the shots! Once the ceremony is complete, please have at it! We love seeing everyone's pictures of our day and everyone enjoying their time with us during the reception and dinner!
The ceremony begins promptly at 2:30pm. We will be getting ready and setting up the venue before hand so please do not arrive before 2pm. There is plenty of parking at the venue but there will be little to no access for guests due to set up until 2pm.
We need all RSVP's to be answered by the 15th of August. We require this time due to requirements from catering and bartenders for solid numbers 3-4 weeks ahead of our wedding day so please be sure to RSVP on the website on the RSVP page before 8/15/25!
Of course! We plan on having plenty of games and activities for all our guests, adults and kids alike!
Our guest list has already accommodated family members of guests as well as possible plus ones. If the bride or groom have not met your plus one, it is likely they cannot be invited. Please ask the bride and groom before assuming a plus one.
Yes. We will have a bartender that will be serving a mix of beer, wine, cider and seltzer as well as sodas and custom non-alcoholic lemonades/punches! There is no overnight parking at the venue so please plan accordingly! Either have a designated driver, or don't go too crazy so that you can't get back to your room for the night! We will not have any hard liquor/spirits due to insurance coverage with the venue, please do not bring any hard alcohol as it will cause issues with the venue.
We live in a tiny house of our own creation and due to that, we kindly ask that no physical gifts be given. We would absolutely love to have more kitchen gadgets, music equipment, or gardening materials, but we simply do not have the available space for that where we live. If you would still like to give us a gift, cash or a check dedicated to excursions or activities for our honeymoon is honestly what we would love the most! We will be spending a few weeks enjoying Germany, Italy and Austria as newlyweds and your gift would help give us the best send-off into our marriage!
That's the greatest question of all! Here in the PNW the weather can be very unpredictable at the best of times. Luckily, September is outside of the normal rainy season and the temperature usually sits at a lovely 65-70F (18-21C). It can get breezy so we recommend to wear your loveliest wedding attire that you'd like, but bring a sweater/jacket for the evening. We will have heaters set up in the tent for dinner just in case it does get proper chilly!
