Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Christine Wagner and Matt Pablo
For our out-of-town guests, here are a few exciting things to explore during your visit.
Diamond Head Crater

Diamond Head Crater

Diamond Head, Honolulu, HI 96815

One of Hawaii's most famous land marks is Daimond Head Crater. This is a 30min to 60min Hike with breathtaking views of the entire island.

Hanauma Bay State Park

Hanauma Bay State Park

7455 Kalanianaole Hwy,, Honolulu, HI 96825

This beautiful bay is for snorkeling. It's tucked away on the east corner of the island and is a nature and fish preserve.

Manoa Valley Falls

Manoa Valley Falls

Manoa Road, Honolulu, HI 96822

Manoa Valley Falls is a relatively easy hike into the valley. It offers a view of a small waterfall at the end. There are no steep inclines but the trail can get extremely muddy during the rainy season. Located at the very end of Manoa Road.

Lanikai beach

Lanikai beach

Lanikai beach, Kailua, HI 96734

Lanikai Beach is ranked as one of the most beautiful beaches in the entire world. Fine white sand, crystal clear blue water and breath taking views of Mokoluia Islands. Great for lounging on the beach, swimming and kayaking.

Waiola Shave Ice

Waiola Shave Ice

2135 Waiola Street, Honolulu, HI 96826
, (808) 949-2269

It's not a trip to Hawaii with out getting Shave Ice. Hawaii's most coveted treat, Waiola offers the best on the entire island. I personally recommend getting it with ice cream and mochi!

Leonard's Bakery

Leonard's Bakery

933 Kapahulu Ave., Honolulu, HI 96816
, 8087375591

This is one of Hawaii's most popular bakeries know for their famous malasadas. They offer a variety of options, but I think the original is the best. See its original location on Kapahulu Ave; open since the 50s.

Liliha Bakery

Liliha Bakery

580 North Nimitz Highway, Honolulu, HI 96817
, (808) 537-2488

Another famous Hawaii bakery known for their cream puffs. My favorite is the chocolate with butter cream on the top.

Historic Haleiwa Town

Historic Haleiwa Town

66-145 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712

This historic town was built in the 1900s and is located on the North side of the island. It's a very long drive from Waikiki but there are multiple places to eat such as; Ted's Bakery, Shrimp trucks, and Matsumoto's shave ice. There are a number of famous beaches like Waimea Bay, Sharks Cove and Sunset beach. However these beaches are much more dangerous and for the more adventurous and experienced.
