There we were, a dinner date at one of the top burger joints in the city, The Loyalist, in West Loop. It was a brutally cold and wintry night in November. Little did we know, this would spark our weekend theme over the next few years. Hunting down the best burger bars the city had to offer like our lives depended on it. It was our little paradise, especially during the winter months. That night led off with laughs, then this weird escargot pastry that resembled a receptacle eclair, another wine and whiskey, ending with even more boisterous laughing. The burger was perfect, by the way. Great waiter that night that knew it was our first date. "Hey, guys...take your time, but just so you know we are closing pretty soon.” We look around and we were literally the last two people in the restaurant unbeknownst to us. We were captivated. That very moment was the beginning of the rest of our lives. And a second date in case you were wondering. We've been back, it's what we love to do. Eat, drink, explore, laugh with each other. Talk about our dreams together. We can't express to each and every one of you how excited we are to share the most significant day of our lives with you. Those dreams we wax poetic on, they include making plans for places and time spent with all of you that we love so much.
