This will be very casual; come in what makes you comfortable!
For all those in town, please join us for an informal rehearsal dinner. Beginning at 6 pm, we will have pizza, salad, beer, and Maryland's famous Smith Island Cakes. At 8 pm, we invite everyone to showcase their smarts (and perhaps win some excellent prizes) during wedding-themed pub trivia. Come for all, part, or just hang out while others play!

Ceremony

Garden/Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, floral prints, lightweight suits, and fun hats and fascinators. We are hoping to have an outdoor event, which can be quite warm in mid-August. In the event of storms or sweltering weather, we will move inside, but please plan for some heat.
The ceremony will begin at 6 pm, but we invite you to arrive a bit early to enjoy lemonade and sign our guest book.
Cocktail Hour
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Enjoy drinks and passed appetizers while catching up with friends and family. This will be a mixed indoor/outdoor event with access to climate control as needed.
Reception
7:45 pm
Come for all the classics in a fully temperature-controlled setting: speeches, dinner, dancing, and an ice cream social will help us celebrate into the night! Dinner will be plated: sides will include garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Entree choices will appear upon selecting 'will attend.' Please alert us to any dietary constraints (allergies, kosher status, etc.) so we can work with CBBC to accomodate.
After Party

For all the party animals, you can continue the fun on Kent Island's waterfront late night spot. The Jetty is within walking distance (via a paved, off-road bike path) to the three major nearby hotels. So even if you want to pull a Chelsea and go to bed early, hopping on the Jetty bus may be an efficient way to get home!
