Things To Do

Miami is such a large city with so much to do! We have chosen a few recommendations to our favorite places in the south of 5th area near the suggested hotels. If you are staying elsewhere, please feel free to reach out and we'd love to help you plan a fun weekend in Miami.
Call Me Gaby

Call Me Gaby

22 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
, (305) 531-4800

Great ambiance and delicious pasta, we recommend making a dinner reservation here if you are in town Friday or Sunday.

Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen

Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen

864 Commerce Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Fresh Televivian cuisine with a great atmosphere. We recommend making a lunch reservation here.

Miami Beach

Miami Beach

1 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
, (305) 673-7730

Walk along Miami Beach and check out the 36 iconic art deco lifeguard towers located directly behind our hotel room blocks. If you're staying in any of the room blocks, remember they will provide you with beach chair setup service.

Joe's Stone Crab

Joe's Stone Crab

11 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
, (305) 673-4611

You can't recommend restaurants in Miami Beach and not mention the famous Joe's Stone crab. Try a few stone crabs from this bucket list restaurant if you are willing to splurge a little. If not, order the famous fried chicken for under $10. This restaurant has been around since 1913. A visit to Joe's is the epitome of the Miami Beach history and experience. There are no reservations and lines get long. Try to arrive early!

Jewish Museum of Florida

Jewish Museum of Florida

301 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
, (305) 672-5044

Why recommend visiting a museum during wedding weekend? Dating back to the 1920's, this museum was once the first synagogue in Miami Beach. Chelsea's great-great grandfather served as a cantor here, so the history of the museum hits close to home for our family.

Minibar

Minibar

418 Meridian Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139
, (786) 690-1858

The name speaks for itself. Its a bar that is certainly mini. We love a hole in the wall place that feels like a well kept secret. If you're looking for a casual place to grab a drink, head here.

Big Pink

Big Pink

157 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

This retro diner has been around since 1996 and is another iconic South Beach spot. If you are looking for a more casual option with endless choices, this is it. Big Pink stays open until 5:30 am on Friday and Saturdays. After...after party????

For all the days along the way
