FAQs

If you have any other questions not answered here, please reach out to either Catie or Matt
Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

While the ceremony start time is at 4pm, we kindly ask you arrive at least 15 minutes early. You may arrive as early as 3pm for refreshments before the ceremony! The ceremony will also be held outside (weather permitting) and it is a slight walk to our ceremony area.

Question

When we arrive where should we park?

Answer

There is a parking lot area near the front entrance, and there will be staff on site to help you park your vehicles.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Matt and Catie are using an online portal to finalize their guest count, so please RSVP by 09/25/2022 to ensure proper guest count. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, Catie and Matt will not have you added in the final guest count, and therefore will not have a place setting for you.

Question

What if I cannot make it to the wedding?

Answer

While you will be missed, both Matt and Catie understand! Please RSVP either way so they can be made aware.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Respectfully, no. Not without an invite. While we love our friends and their children, we want to allow our friends with kids the time to safely and comfortably celebrate with us without having to run around with your little ones.

Question

Are COVID vaccines required?

Answer

No, we will not be requiring our guests to have the vaccine for our wedding, but please do not attend if you are not feeling well. Please reach out to Catie or Matt as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. Catie and Matt do recommend having yourself tested prior to the wedding to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Question

Open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for everyone to enjoy! But remember to tip your bartenders!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire, however please wear what makes you feel most comfortable overall! As a reminder, the ceremony will be held outside, and in the middle of October in the midwest, so be careful when choosing your outfit and shoes for the evening - we would hate for your skinny stiletto shoes to sink into the ground.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You may bring a date if your invitation says "and Guest," but if not, we prefer it be just you.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside, but there is a golf cart available for anyone who may need it to help transport them to the ceremony site. We will make any necessary accommodations to help you feel safe and comfortable during the day!

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

You may take home any flowers with you, but please leave all centerpieces for the couple. They have antiqued many of the pieces, and will use them in their home. Thanks!

For all the days along the way
